Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced RN – SSSU/PACU with strong Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II nursing skills.
The RN will provide nursing care throughout the Outpatient Services area, including:
- Day Surgery
- Endoscopy Lab
- Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Pre-Operative Clinic
- Conscious sedation for special procedures
- Other hospital nursing needs as required
Responsibilities include performing comprehensive nursing assessments, providing perioperative education and care, and recognizing and managing post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Strong Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II experience
- Must be willing to float throughout the entire Outpatient Services area
- Must participate in the shared on-call rotation
- Active state RN license required
