Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday – Saturday
• Shift: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling required

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support a community-based vaccination initiative. The RN will administer a variety of immunizations in a retail healthcare setting while delivering exceptional patient care and education. This is a patient-facing role that requires strong clinical skills, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Administer immunizations including, but not limited to:
  • Influenza (Flu)
  • COVID-19
  • MMR
  • Hepatitis A & B
  • Tdap
  • Shingles
  • Pneumococcal
  • HPV
  • RSV (as applicable)
• Assess patients prior to vaccination and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients regarding vaccines, side effects, and aftercare instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow all infection prevention, safety, and vaccination protocols.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and support staff.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism.
• Adapt to changing workflows and business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience, including immunization administration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends.
• High School Diploma or GED (verification required).
• Must not appear on any federal exclusion lists.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail health, public health, outpatient clinics, or community vaccination programs.
• Experience administering multiple vaccine types.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Work Environment

• Retail/community healthcare setting.
• Direct patient interaction throughout the shift.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
• Onsite position.
