                                       Registered Nurse – Hospice

Pride Health is hiring a Registered Nurse – Hospice for a 13-week contract assignment supporting a leading healthcare organization in Menominee, MI. 

Responsibilities Include:
•    Coordinate end-of-life care for hospice patients by serving as the primary liaison between patients, families, physicians, the hospice medical director, and the interdisciplinary care team. 
•    Conduct comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments while developing and managing individualized care plans for patients in their homes or residential facilities. 
•    Manage pain and symptoms, educate patients and caregivers on disease progression, medication management, and the grieving process, and provide compassionate support throughout the hospice journey. 
•    Manage a daily caseload of 5–6 patient visits while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. 

Qualifications:
•    Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license. 
•    Current CPR certification. 
•    Prior hospice nursing experience preferred. 
•    Strong assessment, care coordination, communication, and patient education skills. 

Important Details:
•    Assignment Length: 13-week contract 
•    Start Date: September 14, 2026 
•    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 
•    Hours: 8-hour shifts / 40 hours per week 
•    Productivity Expectation: 5–6 patient visits per day 
•    On-Call Requirement: Every other weekend and 2–3 weekdays per week 
•    Coverage Area: Menominee County, MI 
•    Pay Range: $53.00–$57.00/hour 
•    Mileage Reimbursement: Reimbursed from the first patient visit to the last patient visit of the day
