Shift Breakdown: 4x10 hrs
Shift: 10 hours, days, rotating

0800-1830 4 days a week with rotating day off throughout the week/1 weeknight and 2 weekend days a month for call requirements. Licenses and Certification Non-Certified: Graduate of OR technician program, accredited through ARC/STSA or on the job training; military experience as technician or LPN; dental assistant; ophthalmologist technician; medical assistant. All on the job training or military must show evidence of training by training facility, physician in charge or military command officer. Certified: Successfully pass the Certified Surgical Technologist exam through NBSTSA or NCCT Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate Experience and Skills Technical Experience: 6 months or specialized training for non-certified or on the job and military training

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
