Description
PAY:
Local Pay - $75/hr to $80/hr on W2.
Travelers Pay:
Taxable Amount - $52.25/hr on W2
Lodging Stipend - $1,100 weekly
Meals Stipend - $742 weekly
Weekly Gross - $4,350 weekly including stipend for 48 hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Labor and Delivery
Location - 133 Old Road to 9 Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742
Duration - 13 weeks contract
Night Shift - 7 pm to 7:30 am,every other weekend required, every other holiday
required, no call
Weekly Hours - 48 hours
Float - Yes, Will be required to float to post partum when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Assess maternal and fetal status by monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rate, and labor progression.
Administer medications, IV fluids, epidurals, and oxytocin as prescribed.
Assist physicians and certified nurse-midwives during vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric emergencies.
Perform newborn assessments, initiate neonatal stabilization, and promote mother–baby bonding.
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies, including fetal distress, postpartum hemorrhage, and emergency C-sections.
Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality maternal and neonatal care.
REQUIREMENT:
At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience - Required
BLS, ACLS, NRP and fetal monitoring certification - REQUIRED
Travel and Charge Experience - Required
