Description

Job Title: Travel IMCU / Step-Down Registered Nurse

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Step-Down Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for RNs with strong experience managing higher-acuity patients in an intermediate care setting. Telemetry-only experience is not sufficient.

Assignment Details:

Float Required: Yes, based on skill set
On-Call: No
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Block Scheduling: Not available
Patient Ratios: 1:3 to 1:4
48 Hours: Not approved
Traveler must have a personal vehicle for this assignment

Required Experience:

Intermediate Care (IMCU) / Step-Down nursing experience
Care of tracheostomy and ventilator patients
Management of critical care drips and titratable infusions
Experience with intermediate-acuity patients
Care of complex cardiac and respiratory patients
