Locum Tenens NP, FNP, or PA | Kearney, Nebraska
Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant for an urgent locum tenens assignment in Kearney, Nebraska. This is an excellent opportunity to provide relationship-based primary care in a modern employer health clinic where providers have time to focus on outcomes, prevention, and meaningful patient care.
Position Details
- Location: Kearney, NE
- Pay Rate: $90 per hour
- Assignment: August 17, 2026 through November 27, 2026
- Setting: Outpatient Employer Health Clinic
- Patient Population: Ages 6 and older
Schedule
- Monday and Wednesday: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Tuesday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Practice Opportunity
Marathon Health prioritizes patient outcomes over volume. Providers typically spend 20 to 60 minutes per patient, allowing for a more comprehensive, relationship-driven approach to care with fewer insurance and administrative burdens.
This role includes a blend of:
- Primary and family medicine
- Acute care
- Preventive medicine and health education
- Chronic disease management
- Occupational health services
- Patient-centered, longitudinal care
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 2 years of family practice or primary care experience
- Experience managing both acute and chronic conditions
- Active, unrestricted state license
- NPs: Current ANCC or AANP board certification
- PAs: Current NCCPA board certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Occupational medicine and workers’ compensation experience preferred
- Independent practice experience preferred where permitted by state regulations
