Description
Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a 13-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for an RRT who is passionate about providing specialized respiratory care to neonatal patients in a collaborative acute care environment.
Assignment Details:
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of RRT experience with NICU
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Required within scope of practice
- Pediatric Experience: Preferred; therapists with pediatric experience may be asked to float to the Pediatric unit
- Local Candidates: Accepted
- Pending State License: Accepted (must be active before start date)
Required Certifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- BLS
- NRP
- PALS
- Active State License (pending accepted prior to start)
Required Experience:
- NICU respiratory care
- Neonatal respiratory assessment and intervention
- Ventilator management for neonatal patients
- Airway management and emergency respiratory support
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary NICU teams
