Description
Job Responsibilities
The Ultrasound Technologist will:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
- Obtain high-quality sonographic images for radiologist interpretation.
- Evaluate image quality before submission.
- Reconcile physician orders.
- Manage imaging data and documentation.
- Transport patients when needed.
- Ensure timely communication and accountability for imaging results.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience.
- Completed at least one full travel assignment.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong preference (or possible requirement):
- Experience at a dedicated pediatric hospital, or
- Pediatric Sonography (PS) certification through ARDMS.
