RN – PCU / Critical Care Stepdown

Contract Details

Unit: PCU / Critical Care Stepdown
Charting System: Cerner
Shift: 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM / 6:45 PM)
Schedule: 3 shifts per week
Self-Scheduling: Available for the most part
Schedule Posted: Initially 2–3 weeks in advance, then up to 9 weeks ahead
Call: None
Floating: First to float to Telemetry or Med-Surg
Holiday RTO: Considered but not guaranteed

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of PCU/Stepdown or ICU Stepdown experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Must be comfortable titrating drips
Knowledge of HCAHPS and core measures preferred
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

License/Certification

Current RN License
AHA BLS Certification
AHA ACLS Certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
