Travel RN Infusion

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer infusion therapies to patients with conditions such as solid tumors, lymphomas, and leukemia
• Manage complex procedures including bone marrow aspirations, intravesicular and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Monitor patient responses, ensure safety during procedures, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Utilize advanced equipment, including ultrasound-guided IV machines, blood warmers, and vein finders
• Ensure compliance with all clinical and safety protocols, including EKG examinations and documentation in electronic medical records

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of infusion center and outpatient oncology experience
• Prior charge nurse experience preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR systems
• Current active nursing license in good standing
• BLS and ONS/ONCC certifications required; ACLS and OCN preferred
• Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Strong understanding of patient diagnoses such as solid tumors, lymphomas, and neuro-oncology treatments
• Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with specialty procedural equipment like blood warmers and ultrasound-guided IVs
• Previous experience in a hospital-based infusion setting

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Nursing degree from accredited programs (Third-party education verification required)
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Knowledge of oncology treatments and infusion protocols

Other Requirements:

• Must be available for day shifts (8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., or 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
• Travel compliance (Tier 2) is mandatory; candidates must be prepared to float to various campuses
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius; valid driver’s license required for address verification
