Description
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (AUTO OFFER) – Night Shift
- Schedule: Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:30 | 48 Hours Per Week
- Assignment Length: 26-Week Extended Contract (Start Date: 09/14/2026)
- Weekend & Holiday Protocol: Every other weekend required; holiday coverage as needed.
- On-Call Protocol: None required.
- Floating Protocol: Required to float to Postpartum, Antepartum, and sister campuses handling Mother/Baby care.
- RTO Limit & Protocol: Maximum 1 pre-approved time-off request (reviewed on a case-by-case basis).
- Candidate Eligibility: Local candidates accepted at the local rate.
Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 3–5 years of high-acuity, high-volume L&D RN experience (candidates with 3+ years considered if background is strictly high-risk; 5 years strongly preferred). First-time travelers are accepted.
- Core Competency Mandates [CRITICAL HARDSTOPS – DO NOT SCREEN WITHOUT]:
- C-Section Circulating: Direct experience circulating surgical cases in the OR.
- Dedicated "Baby Nurse" Role: Must function as the dedicated Baby Nurse during delivery and provide immediate care (APGAR scoring, physical assessments, Erythromycin eye prophylaxis, and Vitamin K IM injections in thighs).
- High-Risk/High-Acuity Management: Direct experience managing high-risk intrapartum conditions and titrating critical infusions (Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin, Pitocin, Antihypertensives, Heparin).
- EMR Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR and electronic fetal heart monitoring.
- Licensure & Documentation [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active Washington State RN License or active eNLC Compact RN License.
- Active Nursys verification proof attached to profile.
- Current Supervisory RN References from within the past 2 years.
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- (AHA ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications are preferred).
