CVOR Details.
# suites 12.
# of cases per day 20.
Required Certifications RN, BLS.
Common Cases CABG, MVR, AVR, Kidney transplant, Robotics (Thoracic and Cardiac), Peripheral vascular, Thoracic, Aortic Repair, Vascular Access, Hybrid (TEVAR/EVAR,TAVR), Impella, IABP, ECMO.
Experience or 'Must have' skills 3 years CVOR circulating experience.
Scrubbing required - RN's No, but scrub experience preferred.
EMR Epic.
Shifts & Scheduling All shifts (We provide 24/7 in-house coverage, needs vary).
Weeknight/Call Requirement Yes.
Weekend/Call Requirement Yes.
Holiday Requirement Yes.
Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement? Yes.
What is call response time? 30 min.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
