Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Day / Evening Shift
- Schedule: Flexible 8s and 12s | Day/Evening Shifts | Shift Times: 07:00 – 15:30, 07:00 – 19:30, and 15:00 – 23:30 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
- Weekend Protocol: Every other weekend rotation required.
- On-Call Protocol: 1 12-hour call shift required per 6-week schedule period.
- Holiday Protocol: Required to work 2 holidays during the winter months.
- Assignment Length: 13-Week Contract (Start Date: 08/31/2026)
- Orientation: Paid.
- RTO Limit & Protocol: Maximum 1 pre-approved time-off request. Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
- Floating Protocol: Required to float as needed across hospital clinical units.
- Health Guidelines: Annual Flu Vaccination required (Medical or Religious exemptions only).
Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Education Verification [HARDSTOP]: Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff Respiratory Therapist in acute care. Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center experience is required.
- Clinical Scope Baseline: Both adult critical care and pediatric respiratory care experience are preferred.
- EMR Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical charting experience in Epic EMR is required.
- Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active NBRC RRT Credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist).
- Active Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License (Pending license status at time of submittal is accepted).
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strictly required.
