Job Title: Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse - Nights (UP Health System - Marquette, MI)
Job Description: Take on an exciting travel nursing assignment in the Acute Medical-Surgical unit at UP Health System - Marquette (Marquette General Hospital) in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula! We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse for night shifts (7P–7A) backed by 36 guaranteed weekly hours starting August 31, 2026. Join a premier 225-bed Level II Trauma Center. Contract Details:
- Start Date: August 31, 2026.
- Schedule: Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week.
- Location: UP Health System - Marquette (850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI).
- Radius Policy: Travel rate requires a 60+ mile radius; local candidates accepted at $48.00/hr.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience in an acute care setting.
- Licensure & Certifications: Active Michigan RN License and active ACLS certification.

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
