Position: RN – Labor & Delivery
Location: Eureka, CA
Assignment Length: 26 Weeks
Shift: 12 hour nights | 36-48 hrs/week
Pay Package (48 hrs):
Total Weekly Gross: $3934/week
Non-Taxable Stipend: $1806/week
Taxable (W2):
Regular: $38/hr × 32 hrs = $1216
Overtime: $57/hr × 16 hrs = $912
Pay Package (36 hrs):
• W2 (Taxable): $29/hr
• Per Diem (Non-Taxable): $1,806/week
• Gross Weekly Pay: $3024/week
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN experience
- Active California RN License (pending license not accepted)
- Must be available for an ASAP start
- Must be willing to work 12-hour night shifts
- Must be willing to work weekends as needed
- Must be willing to float within scope of practice based on facility needs (travelers float first)
- Experience caring for high-risk OB patients
- Comfortable circulating cesarean sections (C-sections)
Preferred Qualifications
- Postpartum experience
- Prior travel experience (first-time travelers accepted)
Additional Notes
- Unit averages 15–20 patients/day with 11 L&D rooms and 15 beds
