Min of 2 years of experience within specialty
(Pathology Laboratory)
Required - ASCP (HT/HLT)
Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or an Associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences. Pathology, Cytology and IHC are all in
Dept. 705receiving specimens from surgery, accessioning specimen into Cerner, collection of blocks from PA staff, processing tissue, embedding, cutting, staining of slides.
Facilty Holiday Expectations: MUST work 2 major Holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day New Year's Day AND 1 Minor Holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve New Year's Eve .
