Description
Position: Sterile Processing Manager (Temp-to-Perm)
Schedule: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (days vary Mon–Fri based on department needs)
Contract: Travel assignment with possible permanent opportunity
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years Sterile Processing experience
- Prior supervisory/leadership experience required
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Travel experience required
- Experience with decontamination, sterilization, assembly/wrap
- Specialty case experience preferred:
- Neuro
- GU
- Robotics
- ENT
- Ortho
- Transplant
- GYN
Certifications Required:
- CRCST (HSPA) and/or CBSPD
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all SPD operations:
- Decontamination
- Assembly
- Sterilization
- Case cart management
- Distribution
- Lead SPD supervisors and technicians
- Staff hiring, training, evaluations, coaching
- Quality assurance and regulatory compliance
- Instrument tracking systems
- Budget management
- Collaboration with OR, Infection Prevention, Risk, and Materials Management
