Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Big Sky, MT

Location: Big Sky, MT
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Variable 12-Hour Shifts (Days, Nights & Weekends)
Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts
 

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Big Sky, MT. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced emergency setting, providing exceptional, patient-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and emergency interventions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Practice modified primary nursing while providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Requirements:

• Active Montana RN License
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) PALS or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) Certification
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department or Critical Care nursing experience
• Ability to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and on-call as needed
