Description
Cardiovascular Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist (CVOR CST)
- Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | 06:45 – 19:15 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
- Weekend Protocol: Primary weekend shift schedule (Friday – Sunday).
- On-Call Protocol: No on-call duties specified.
- Assignment Length: 13-Week Contract.
- Local accepted at local rate.
Floating Protocol: During downtime, may float to assist in other surgical specialty service lines in the main OR suite.
Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 5+ years of recent, full-time experience as a CVOR CST in a high-volume hospital setting. Must be able to function independently on day one ("hit the ground running"). Candidates requiring extensive onboarding will be rejected.
- Reference Verification [HARDSTOP]: Must provide verifiable references from at least 2 prior travel assignments explicitly confirming full independence with no training required.
- Procedural Proficiency Mandate: Demonstrated mastery in complex adult cardiac, thoracic, endovascular, and vascular surgical cases.
- Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (NBSTSA or NCCT).
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
