Description

MANAGER INTERVIEWS
UNIT:  Rad Tech

 

Skills required:
Experience performing various diagnostics exams within the applicable modality


Patients seen in a day:
X-Ray: Inpatient, outpatient, ED
 


Technology/Equipment:
EMR: EPIC
PACS: Change Healthcare (McKesson)
Equipment used? Do travelers need experience with equipment?:
X-ray: R&F, General Rad Room, Portable, C-arm


General Information:
Imaging Rooms

Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Upon review

About Facility:
Olympia, WA
107 beds
COVID vaccine required


Support on the Unit:
Lead Tech on days
Respiratory Therapy: 24/7
Hospitalist: 24/7
Radiologist: on site during the days, remote after 1730
Rapid Response Team: Yes
CNA/Transporter: for MRI only

Floating: If yes, where?
Throughout the hospital for bedside exams
MRI, CT, Xray, and Ultrasound can also float to the outpatient clinic

 

Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: Call, see below
On call? Yes
1 call shift a week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
Holiday Expectations: in rotation
Approval of RTO: to go through manager
Schedule cycle: 13 weeks
Scrub Color: Procedural, professional
