Description
Position: Pathologists’ Assistant (PA)
Required Certifications:
- Certified Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) via ASCP Verification
- BLS (AHA) (listed in requirements; facility notes indicate ASCP PA certification is required)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Completion of an accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program preferred
Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 year of Pathologists’ Assistant experience
- Experience in an academic medical center preferred
- Must have experience grossing simple and complex tissue specimens
Charting/LIS System:
- EPIC / Epic Beaker AP
