Description
Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiography Technologist – Day Shift
- Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Monday – Friday | 07:00 – 15:30 | 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
- Weekend Protocol: Saturdays possible to rotate with department staff if/when needed.
- On-Call Protocol: No on-call duties specified.
- Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract (08/31/2026 – 11/29/2026, with potential to extend).
Local Rate Policy: Local candidates receive a reduced rate.
Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer (must be able to work independently without training; "jump right in").
- Technical Modality Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Demonstrated proficiency performing TTE (Transthoracic Echo), TEE (Transesophageal Echo), and Stress Echocardiography (exercise testing).
- Contrast Agent & Special Skills: Experience conducting agitated saline bubble studies and utilizing ultrasound contrast agents (Lumason); IV start proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Equipment Proficiency: Hands-on experience operating Philips diagnostic ultrasound platforms.
- EMR Experience: Direct clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR is preferred.
- Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer via ARDMS) credential strictly required.
- Active AHA BLS or ARC BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology / Sonography or equivalent accredited certification.
