🚨 Travel Stepdown RN | Iowa | 13-Week Contract

Join a collaborative healthcare team providing exceptional care to Stepdown patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. First-time travelers are welcome to apply!

📍 Location: Iowa
🩺 Specialty: Stepdown / Progressive Care RN
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 2 years of Stepdown RN experience
First-time travelers accepted
✅ Active Iowa RN License or Compact License
AHA BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications required

Unit Highlights:

  • EMR: EPIC
  • Float within the same specialty as needed, including the Emergency Department
  • Work alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team
  • Multiple orientation dates available throughout the year
  • Fast interview process – qualified candidates can expect a phone call/text from a 405 area code

Submission Requirements:

  • Driver's License
  • Current Resume/Work History
  • Skills Checklist (completed within the last year)
  • Active RN License Verification
  • Copies of required certifications
  • One recent supervisory reference required at submission
  • Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility (Madison locals accepted at a reduced local rate)

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
