Location: Kapaau, HI
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Days and/or Nights
Schedule: Includes weekends and holidays based on facility needs
 

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Float Med-Surg / Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment at a Critical Access Hospital in North Kohala, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable floating between the Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department while providing exceptional patient care.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in both the Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department units.
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with a variety of medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Active Hawaii RN License
• Recent Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department experience
• Strong Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to float between Med-Surg and ED as needed
• Willingness to work 12-hour day and/or night shifts, including weekends and holidays
