Join a healthcare team providing essential psychosocial support to patients and families across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatric populations. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Social Worker to provide counseling, care coordination, crisis support, and community resource referrals.

Position Details

• Role: Clinical Social Worker
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Assignment Type: Travel/Contract Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical psychosocial services to patients and their families across all age groups
• Complete psychosocial assessments and identify patient and family needs
• Develop appropriate care plans and provide emotional support
• Coordinate referrals to community resources, healthcare facilities, and support services
• Provide crisis intervention services for patients and families
• Offer bereavement counseling and grief support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Current Social Work license or eligibility according to state requirements
• Recent clinical healthcare social work experience required
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Strong assessment, counseling, communication, and crisis management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Required Certifications / Credentials

• BLS (Basic Life Support) 
• LCSW, LMSW, or equivalent
