Job Title: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Nights (North Kansas City Hospital - North Kansas City, MO)
Job Description: Take on an exciting travel nursing assignment at North Kansas City Hospital (NKC Health) in the greater Kansas City area! We are seeking an experienced L&D / Couplet Care Registered Nurse for night shifts (18:45–07:15) backed by 36 guaranteed weekly hours starting August 25, 2026. Contract Details:
- Start Date: August 25, 2026.
- Schedule: Night shifts (18:45 – 07:15) | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week | Every 3rd weekend required.
- Location: North Kansas City Hospital (North Kansas City, MO).
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of L&D experience (Level II and previous travel experience mandatory; first-time travelers not accepted).
- EMR: Cerner experience required, no exceptions.
- Licensure & Certifications: Active Missouri or compact RN license at submittal; active AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
