Echo Technologist (ARDMS/CCI Registered)

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado 81505
Pay Rate: $67.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Varied Shifts) | On-Call Every 3 Weeks | Sunday AM Rotation (5 Hours)

Mandatory Qualifications for this Job

High School Diploma or equivalent
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
Current ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) Certification
Current AHA BLS Certification
Experience performing Transthoracic (TTE) and Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiograms Echocardiograms

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform Transthoracic (TTE) and Transesophageal (TEE) echocardiograms
Prepare and educate patients for cardiac ultrasound procedures
Operate echocardiography equipment to obtain high-quality cardiac images
Position patients safely for accurate imaging
Analyze images and assist physicians with diagnosis
Collaborate with cardiologists and the healthcare team
Document procedures and findings accurately in the EMR
Maintain ultrasound equipment and imaging quality standards
Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
Participate in quality improvement and continuing education
Provide Clinic, Cath Lab, and occasional Hospital coverage as needed
