Description
LPN – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Night Shift)
Shift: 18:30 – 07:00 (Nights) | 36 Hours Guaranteed (13-Week Contract)
Role Overview
Provide direct nursing care to adult patients recovering from strokes, brain/spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions in a 60-bed, CARF-accredited rehabilitation facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality floor nursing care for a 7:1 patient ratio.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and track rehab outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC and UDS.
- Operate workstations on wheels (WOWs) and patient lifts safely.
Requirements
- Education & License: Active LPN License + BLS Certification.
- Experience: Open to 0+ years; floor nursing required (rehab experience a plus).
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and alignment with Lifepoint core values.
Shift & First Day Info
- Schedule: 36 hrs/week | Variable weekends | No Call / No Floating
- First Day Report Time: 06:30 AM
- Supervisor: Jamie Lorenc, RN (CNO)
- Scrub Color: Solid Black
- Parking: Back half of the parking lot (no permit required)
