Description
OR RN (Ophthalmology) – Travel Assignment
- Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (may stay late for cases)
- Call: 1 weekday/week, up to every other weekend, rotating holidays (30-minute response time)
Requirements:
- 2+ years of OR experience
- Ophthalmology experience required (must independently perform cataract & cornea cases)
- Must scrub and circulate ambulatory surgery cases
- BLS required
Cases:
Cataracts, corneal transplants, vitrectomy, scleral buckle, ENT, dental, minor general surgery, spine procedures, spinal cord stimulators.
Unit Details:
- 6 OR suites
- ~22 cases/day
- Epic charting
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- May float to other surgical departments
Submission Notes:
- Must live 50+ miles from the facility
- Only one WVU position can be submitted at a time
- Previous staff/travelers must meet facility rehire waiting periods.
