Job Title: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Nights (CHRISTUS Health Mount Pleasant - Mount Pleasant, TX)

Job Description: Take on an exciting travel nursing assignment in the Women's Services unit at CHRISTUS Health Mount Pleasant Hospital in Mount Pleasant, TX! We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for night shifts (7P–7A) backed by 36 guaranteed weekly hours starting August 17, 2026. Join a dedicated regional care team with a temp-to-perm option available upon contract completion. Apply today!

Contract Details:

Start Date: August 17, 2026.
Duration: 13-week contract (Temp-to-perm option available).
Schedule: Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12s.
Location: CHRISTUS Health Mount Pleasant Hospital (2001 N Jefferson Ave, Mount Pleasant, TX).

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience required.
Licensure & Certifications: Active Texas or compact RN license; active AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate FHM (or C-EFM) certifications.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
