Special Procedures Technologist (Cath Lab / Neuro) – Banner University Medical Center
Phoenix, Arizona

Banner University Medical Center is seeking Special Procedures Technologists to join its growing Cath Lab and Neuro teams.

Available Openings
- Regular Special Procedures Technologists
- Neuro Special Procedures Technologists
- Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Schedule
- Four 10-hour day shifts
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Monday–Friday
- Self-scheduling available for both regular shifts and call
- Weekend and holiday call rotation
- On-call requirement: 2 days per week and every 4th weekend
Department Highlights
Cath Lab
- 4 Cath Labs
- Approximately 10–20 procedures daily
- Procedures include coronary interventions, stents, peripheral vascular procedures, and other cardiac interventions
Electrophysiology (EP)
- 3 EP Labs
- Approximately 8–12 procedures daily
- Procedures include pacemakers, ICDs, ablations, and other cardiac rhythm interventions
Adult patient population only.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (Radiologic Technology) certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), if required by state
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, X-Ray, or Electrophysiology preferred
- Lead Cath position requires 3+ years of Cath Lab or EP experience
Compensation
- Special Procedures Technologist: $37.00–$53.15/hour, based on experience
- Lead Cath Technologist: $37.14–$60/hour, based on experience
Shift Differentials
- Nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM): 18% of base pay
- Weekend Differential: $3.00/hour
- Standby Call: $5.00/hour
- Call Back: Double pay with a 2-hour minimum guarantee
Sign-On & Relocation
- $30,000 Sign-On Bonus for candidates with 1+ year of Radiology experience
- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for candidates with less than 1 year of experience
- Relocation assistance up to $5,000
