Job Description:

Position: Unlicensed Social Worker / Counselor

Location: Hampstead, New Hampshire

Setting: Pediatric Psychiatric Hospital

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:

• 2nd shift
• 40 hours per week
• Exact schedule discussed during interview

Travel Pay Package:

• Up to $1,660 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals

Overview:

• Provide counseling and behavioral support services to pediatric psychiatric patients
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with assigned patients
• Support treatment plans and promote a safe therapeutic environment
• Assist patients with emotional, behavioral, and social development goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field required
• Candidates without a degree must have 3+ years of relevant experience
• Pediatric experience required
• Experience working with children and severe behaviors required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• CPI certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience preferred for travelers
