🏥 Travel RN – Operating Room (OR)

Join a collaborative surgical team where you'll provide exceptional perioperative care in a fast-paced Operating Room environment.

✅ Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts RN License
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required
  • CNOR strongly preferred
  • BLS required
  • ACLS (or obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire)
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Circulate and coordinate patient care throughout surgical procedures
  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety
  • Verify patient identity, surgical site, and procedure
  • Manage surgical instruments, specimens, and counts
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team
  • Provide accurate documentation and patient education

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
