🏥 Travel RN – ICU

📍 Nampa, ID
🌙 12-Hour Shifts | 13-Week Contract

Join a supportive 10-bed Intensive Care Unit providing high-acuity care for critically ill adult patients in a collaborative environment.

  • 👥 1:2 Nurse-to-Patient Ratio

✅ Requirements

  • Active RN License
  • BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
  • At least 1 year of ICU experience
  • Strong teamwork and critical thinking skills
  • Experience titrating vasoactive drips and caring for ventilated patients

🩺 Patient Population

  • Heart Failure
  • Respiratory Failure
  • Sepsis
  • Ventilator Patients
  • GI Bleeds
  • Stroke & tPA
  • Post-Code Patients
  • Pneumonia
  • Post-Surgical ICU Patients

💉 ICU Skills

  • Titrate drips including Levophed, Propofol, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, and Diltiazem
  • Interpret telemetry rhythms (RN reads strips)
  • Care for ventilated patients, BiPAP, High-Flow Oxygen
  • CRRT available (travelers will not be assigned CRRT patients)

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
