❤️ CVOR Surgical Technologist 

Hi ! I have a high-level CVOR CST opportunity that may be a great fit for an experienced cardiac surgical technologist.

Position: CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST)
Shift: 10:30 AM–9:00 PM
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour weekday shifts
Contract: 13 weeks
 

🔥 Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of recent full-time CVOR CST experience
• Must have experience in a high-volume hospital
• Must be proficient in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Candidates requiring extensive onboarding will not be considered
• 2 verifiable references from prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed
• Must be able to hit the ground running
• Call coverage required after normal business hours and on weekends

🫀 CVOR Case Experience

The service line handles routine and complex:

Cardiac:

• CABG
• Valve repair/replacement
• Aortic dissection
• Heart transplantation
• Ventricular assist device (VAD) placement
• Impella
• Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
• Adult ECMO
• TAVR

Thoracic:

• Laparoscopic procedures
• Robotic-assisted procedures
• Open thoracic procedures

Vascular:

• ESRD graft/fistula placement and revision
• Endovascular procedures

🏥 Unit Details

• 4–6 ORs, depending on daily volume
• Includes an endovascular suite
• Capacity for 4 concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass

This position is specifically looking for a highly experienced CVOR CST who can work independently with minimal orientation.
