Description
Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist | Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
- Prepare patients, equipment, and sterile supplies for cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angiography, angioplasty, stent placements, and other interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to radiation safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the Cath Lab team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Participate in on-call coverage as required.
Required Documents / Certifications
- Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- ACLS Certification (AHA)
- ARRT Interventional Radiography (VI) and/or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) preferred
