Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist | Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and sterile supplies for cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angiography, angioplasty, stent placements, and other interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the Cath Lab team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
• Participate in on-call coverage as required.

Required Documents / Certifications

• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
• ARRT Certification (Required)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• ACLS Certification (AHA)
• ARRT Interventional Radiography (VI) and/or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) preferred
