Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Day Shift
- Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Weekend Rotation Required
- On-Call Protocol: No on-call duties required (NO CALL).
- Holiday Protocol: Holiday coverage required as scheduled.
- Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract (08/31/2026 or 11/29/2026 start date) | Open Position
- Radius Rule [HARDSTOP]: Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
Traveler Housing Option: Newly remodeled, fully furnished, move-in-ready studio ($1,790/month) and 1-bedroom ($1,980/month) apartments available 1/2 block from the hospital (includes Wi-Fi/utilities, no deposit, no pets).
Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 5+ years of clinical Respiratory Therapy experience.
- Credential Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Must be an RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) via NBRC. CRTs cannot be considered.
- Clinical Scope Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Must have proven critical care, mechanical ventilation, neonatal (NICU/NRP), and pediatric experience across all patient age groups and acuity levels.
- Compliance & Onboarding Requirements:
- CAPS Background Requirement: Must apply for Colorado CAPS check (takes up to 2 weeks to process). Out-of-state agencies must register properly in the system.
- Accurate DOB and SSN details required in Medefis profile at submission to prevent IT/onboarding delays.
- EMR Proficiency: Direct clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR.
Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist License (DORA-RT) in good standing.
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
- Active AAP NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
