Description
Travel RN – Multi-Specialty / Float Position
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Shift: 3x12-hour shifts
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend — Saturday & Sunday
Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 holidays, as determined by leadership
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
Position Overview
This is a highly flexible community-based facility seeking an experienced RN who can float across multiple patient-care areas based on facility needs and the candidate's skill set.
The RN may be required to rotate through:
- Emergency Department
- Adult ICU
- Adult Med/Surg
- Adult Progressive Care Unit
- Labor & Delivery
- NICU II
The Emergency Department is a full-service community ED, so the RN may also assist with pediatric patients as needed.
Key Requirements
- Must be comfortable floating between multiple specialties.
- Approximately 30–40% of the 13-week assignment may involve high-risk deliveries and NICU II.
- Must be able to provide care in both adult acute-care and emergency settings.
- Best fit: Adult-trained travelers with Labor & Delivery experience.
- This is not a home-based position; the RN will float according to facility needs and demonstrated competencies.
- Strong adaptability and broad clinical experience are essential.
