Requirements

• Active Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) License required by the start of the assignment.
  • Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply immediately upon offer acceptance.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical RN experience or higher-acuity experience.
• BLS Certification – Required.
• ACLS Certification – Preferred.

Facility Information

• Unit: Medical-Surgical
• Bed Count: 50 Beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Charting System: Meditech
• Equipment: Pyxis, Wound VAC, Chest Tubes, and other Med/Surg equipment

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• 36 scheduled hours per week after the first full week of orientation
• Day or Night shifts based on facility needs
• Must be flexible to work various shift lengths and days
• No guaranteed shift preference or minimum hours
• No holiday RTO requests accepted
• Department-specific orientation provided during the first week
