Somerville, MA | Day Shift

Join a busy outpatient endoscopy center supporting physicians and nursing staff during elective GI procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of Endoscopy Technician experience
• Previous travel experience preferred (first-time travelers may be considered)
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• SGNA Certification preferred
• EPIC experience preferred

Schedule:

• Day shifts
• Floating required
• No block scheduling
• No on-call
• Every other major holiday required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment
• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures
• Clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopes and accessories
• Prepare and transport patients before and after procedures
• Maintain procedure room inventory and equipment
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

Unit Highlights:

• Outpatient Endoscopy Center
• Adult patient population (18–95 years)
• Common procedures include colon cancer screenings, evaluation of rectal bleeding, and other elective GI procedures
• 4 procedure rooms, 5 pre-op bays, and 5 PACU bays
