Description
Setting: Critical Access Hospital (Acute Care)
Schedule: 12-hour days, primarily 6:30 AM–7:00 PM; rotating weekends & holidays
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
On Call: None
Charting: Epic
Dispensing System: Omnicell
Required: Wisconsin Pharmacist License in good standing + BLS
Must Have: Recent acute hospital pharmacy experience
Coverage includes:
- ER, ICU, Inpt, Outpt, etc.
- Primarily clinical pharmacy responsibilities
- Review medication orders for dosing, interactions, duplication & appropriateness
- Pharmacokinetic and anticoagulation dosing
- Medication reconciliation & discharge medication education
- Pharmaceutical compounding oversight
- Knowledge of USP 797 & USP 800
- Experience with Epic and automated dispensing cabinets
Scheduling: Self-scheduling may be possible, and the department notes they're willing to work with the right candidate to support work-life balance.
