Description

Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse – Day Shift

  • Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 06:00 – 18:30 | 36 Hours Per Week
  • Weekend Protocol: Every other weekend required (may exceed every other to accommodate facility/unit needs).
  • On-Call Protocol: No on-call requirement.

     

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience, with at least 1 year of dedicated Level III NICU experience. (Candidates with less than 2 years total RN experience may only be screened if they possess Level 4 NICU experience).
  • Travel Experience [HARDSTOP]: Prior travel nursing experience is required (First-time travel nurses will not be accepted per submittal rules).
  • Level III NICU Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting is mandatory. Candidate profiles missing required Level III skills/experience must not be submitted.
  • EMR Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical charting experience in Epic EMR.
  • Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active California State RN License.
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
    • Active AAP NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (Advanced NRP preferred, or willing to obtain prior to start).
    • Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
