Description

Progressive Care Unit (PCU / Stepdown) Registered Nurse – Night (NOC) Shift

  • Schedule: Night (NOC) Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:00 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
  • On-Call Protocol: No on-call duties required (NO ON-CALL).

     

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated, full-time PCU / Stepdown clinical RN experience.
    • Strict Exclusion [HARDSTOP]: Floating to PCU, or straight Telemetry/Med-Surg experience does NOT count. Candidates must have primary, full-time staff or assignment experience in a dedicated Progressive Care / Stepdown Unit.
  • Submission Packet Requirement [HARDSTOP]: A completed PCU Skills Checklist must be included with the candidate's standard submission packet.
  • EMR Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical charting experience in Epic EMR.
  • Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active Connecticut State RN License or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License.
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
    • Active NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
