Description
Specialty: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Pediatric/Neonatal
Shift: Nights 7:30 PM - 7:00 AM | 36 hrs/week | Every Other Weekend
Job Description:
Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a pediatric-only hospital. The RT will care for patients across acute care, Med Surg, PICU, and Level III NICU settings, including patients requiring ventilator support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory treatments and assessments to pediatric and neonatal patients
- Manage and monitor ventilated patients
- Provide respiratory care in PICU, NICU, Acute Care, and Med Surg units
- Assess respiratory status and respond to changes in patient condition
- Perform respiratory procedures and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of respiratory care
Requirements:
- Pediatric respiratory experience required
- Experience in a neonatal/pediatric hospital preferred
- Experience with ventilated patients
- Ability to work in NICU, PICU, Acute Care, and Med Surg settings
Required Certifications:
- RRT
- BLS
- PALS
