Description
Cardiothoracic ICU Registered(Stepdown) Nurse - Travel Contract
Position Requirements:
- Experience with EPIC Charting System is required.
- Active New York RN License required.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Candidate must successfully complete a Pass/Fail competency test at 7:00 AM on the first day of orientation.
- Experience in a large, reputable healthcare facility preferred.
Clinical Experience Required
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) experience, specifically HeartMate 3
- Cardiothoracic nursing experience
- CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) experience
- Heart and lung transplant experience
- Coronary bypass procedures experience
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) experience
- Valve replacement experience
- Strong understanding of arrhythmia management
- Heart failure patient management
- Transplant medication management
- Liver and kidney transplant patient care experience
- Ability and willingness to float to ICU units as needed
