Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Pay Rate: $57/hourly
Schedule: 4×10-Hour Shifts | Rotating Call
Contract: 13 Weeks

Mandatory Qualifications for this Job

Active Colorado CST License through DORA – Required
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Current Surgical Technology certification through NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT
Current AHA BLS Certification
Strong Operating Room and surgical technology experience
Experience with:
- Orthopedics & Total Joint Replacement
- Neuro/Spine
- Robotic Surgery
- Urology
- GYN
- ENT
- Plastics

Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare ORs, instruments, and surgical equipment
Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
Maintain sterile technique and a safe surgical environment
Perform surgical counts and accurate documentation
Anticipate and provide instruments and supplies as needed
Support orthopedic, neuro/spine, robotic, urology, GYN, ENT, and plastic surgery cases
Assist with patient positioning and surgical site preparation
Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols
Clean, sterilize, and organize surgical equipment
Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff
