Travel RN – Med/Surg Telemetry

Missoula, Montana | Days | 36 Hours/Week

Join a well-established teaching hospital serving Missoula and western Montana. Community Medical Center is Joint Commission accredited and offers a broad range of specialty services, including pediatric and neonatal care.

Assignment Details

Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry
Shift: Days
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Call: None
Unit: Acute Care
Unit Size: 31 beds
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
EMR: Cerner
Trauma Level: Level IV
Floating: As appropriate based on experience

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience
BLS
ACLS
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Associate degree or higher

Required Skills

Candidates should be comfortable with:

NG tube placement and management
Foley catheter placement and management
Chest tube maintenance
Med/Surg and telemetry patient care
Adapting to changing patient needs and unit workflow

Preferred

Cerner experience
NIHSS certification
Strong communication skills
Flexible, outgoing, team-oriented personality
