Requirements

• NY State APRN license - Required
  Minimum 2 years of recent experience - Required
• Must Have Experience in GYN and Oncology
• BLS Required

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced APRN for a 9-week contract assignment in Bronx, NY. The APRN will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and patient education. The provider will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and following applicable standards and regulations.
 

Duties

• Performs and records a complete physical examination, health history, and care plan In collaboration with physicians and other health care providers, coordinates care of patients, and evaluates plan of care toward health goals and modifies plan of care accordingly Develops and analyzes differential diagnoses based on clinical and laboratory data Prescribes medications and educates the patient and or involved others about the drug regimen, interactions and side effects Participates in a team approach to health care by acting as liaison between subspecialist and other members of the primary care team Performs related duties as necessary.
