Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality rehabilitation services and help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, mobility, balance, and coordination.
• Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and functional mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow facility policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns with the Physical Therapist and healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current BLS required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Previous healthcare or rehabilitation experience preferred.
